Smokin!!!!!!!
It’s understandable why so many people chose to smoke…with all this great advertising of yesteryear!

My personal favorite…blow in my face! eeek!
…and this pic has nothing to do with smoking, but its all about sharing (all kinds of stuff!).

My StumbleUpon Page
I remember all the advertising, it was everywhere and you could smoke everywhere but inside the church. Both my parents smoked, my father at his height was chain smoking 5 packs a day (he’s dead). My mother was probably smoking 2 packs. There were 3 of the 7 children who took up smoking, both girls and one of the boys (I’m the only one to give it up). When I started smoking continuously, I could buy a carton (in the military) for just over $5, and there was a mini pack that came in each of our C-Rations (now MRE’s).
How is your quit coming along?
Oh mah lordie…too funny. That second one - “You could get hit by a bus?!?” Who the hell thought THAT was a good campaign???
Mamaflo…I didn’t start smoking till I was 21 years old! What on earth was I thinking…I’d passed the ‘peer group’ pressure of high school. Agh go figure!
I’ve not light up now for over 5 weeks and all is well. (and…my husband is still in the land of the living!)
@ Colleen - yeah there were some ‘interesting’ advertising campaigns for sure!
They sure don’t make ads like they used to!
How’s the quit coming along?
I loved smoking, if it hadn’t been for my health issues I would still be smoking - stupid me!
I am sure there was another post here somewhere.. I even commented.. I think either I am going nuts or I need new glasses…
