Germs germs germs?

Did you know that the body has approximately 50,000 bacteria per square inch. These are harmless and beneficial to the skins protection and health.

But hands on the other hand (hmm…not sure thats grammatically correct!) come in contact with more foreign objects and pick up bacteria and germs by touching door knobs, telephones, toilet seats, shaking hands and by getting sneezed into or coughed upon…and THAT can be harmful to you.

Which brings me to my story of yesterday…I was leaving the local shopping centre when the trolley man loaded with a large line of supermarket trolleys stopped to blow his nose. Now whilst this was annoying to me as I was in a hurry and had to wait for him to move all the trolleys before I could exit the centre…it wasn’t a biggy UNTIL…

…he blew his snotty grotty nose into his hanky like a trumpet. Then he held it in his hand and proceeded to push the line of trolleys out of my way. Nice gesture except I was nearly vomiting at this stage as he did this with his snot ridden hanky still in hand. (on the handle of a public supermarket trolly!) OMG!!!

Now I can only hope people try to understand why I carry around my personal sanitiser and wont touch the railings on stairs or escalators. I mean who would know if there was snot or other disgusting bodily fluids on them, or even on the next supermarket trolley they push? (unless of course it was still wet…ewwww I’m cringing!)
