Council elections are happening this week and I went to vote.

Wow…there are so many candidates to choose from. Who’s, who and what makes these people think they can look after the interests of the local residents? What makes these people think they can make a difference?…most are just the ‘norm’ with no special qualifications.

I began to wonder then if I’d numbered the boxes correctly. Did my #1 vote go to the right person…their little pic looked nice but could this person make changes that would impact me and my family?

I’d really not done my homework before voting. I didn’t know one candidate from the next. I quickly read over their ‘blurb’ and checked their pics out…noting the ones that I thought looked a little ’shifty’ or ‘honest’ then numbered the boxes accordingly.

Surely, I’m not the only one that votes in this manner. But, what happens when the ‘wrong’ person is elected? We’ll all be stuck with the decisions they make (for better or worse…just like marriage really, except you can get a divorce a lot easier than get rid of the council)

Guess I’ll just have to wait and see who gets elected and hope for the best…whatever the best is in this case. And, in future I think I’ll study the ‘form guide’ more closely!

For those of you who don’t know me, I have ‘blonde moments’ on a regular basis and today was no exception.

I got all the information to get BuffysBlog up and running…well, I didn’t get all the information personally…it was given to me, but anyway…I got it, and do you think I could get it to work? Ha! course not!

Why in the hell can’t people write instructions in ‘blonde’ english? Whats with all this code? I don’t do code (or cook, but that’s another story)…all I want to do is change the look of my blog…I’m not into blue…I want pink. Do you think I can find the ‘pink’ button…nup!

So, if anyone happens to be passing by and reads this, can you let me know…step by step instructions on how I can Buffy-fy my blog…Please
